Although I own a iPhone and can easily keep my music on that, I just prefer not to. When at the gym or out for a run, it is so nice to not have a phone on me and have it interrupt me with a text or phone call. I figured instead of getting another iPod touch (previous one was stolen), the new iPod nano would suffice. It is enough to hold all of my music, has some pretty awesome apps for working out, and can be worn on my wrist like a watch. Plus, I really like the gold/orange color.

comfort
Nothing is better then a comfy and cozy sweater during this cold winter weather. With how much snow is falling lately, all I want to do is curl up in one of these sweaters and drink some hot tea. These work wonderfully whether it is worn with skinny jeans to meet with friends or throwing this over a short shirt paired with tights when going out for the night.

christmas wish #1
After seeing this Rebecca Minkoff MAB Mini in person, I really fell in love with it. The size is perfect, the color is a refreshing change, and I haven't had a bag that wasn't a cross-body satchel in a while- basically ever since my Marc by Marc Jacobs bag was destroyed 2 years ago and I have to say, this is worthy of being the replacement. Hopefully Santa feels the same.

dipped in glitter

Wanting to get into the Holiday spirit, and being on some painkillers from having my wisdom teeth taken out, I do what I love most, and painted my nails. Breaking away from the traditional style of painting nails, I wanted to play with texture. In order to achieve this look, I painted one coat of Gold Fiction by Chanel (it can be any color you want). While my nail was still wet, I poured on glitter and molded it so that it created the shape of my nail. It looks chunky if you don't do that. After letting it dry, I finished it off with a top coat. Voila! The only downfall of this nail design is that it really is good for one night because it chips quite easily. It's a fun choice to have for Holiday parties and events that is bound to start a topic of conversation.
